When the world has failed him…
An undercurrent of rage builds
But then something amazing happens
He draws in a deep breath
He calms himself
And then he accepts his reality
He allows the revelations to flow
He has placed expectations on others that he shouldn’t have
But he is owed nothing by anyone
They are not required to change to suit his world view
He considers his sadness
He relaxes into himself
And then, at that moment, he feels hopeful
He smiles
Because he knows that he can still change himself
There is still potential untapped
There is still a mission to complete
There are still new journeys that have yet to be mapped
