Life is not meant to be a perpetual state of comfort.
The universe we inhabit has a spiritual ebb and flow of its own.
We are simply participants in its cycles. However, it is the choices we exercise daily and the mind state we occupy that determines our destiny.
Joy is fruitless and success is bland if they are not preceded by struggle.
It is adversity that I hate. Ironically, it is adversity that I embrace.
Adversity provides you the opportunity to become one with a beautiful, turbulent, and frightening universe.
Adversity tests your fabric. It reveals who you are and what you are truly made of.
Beware of the softened mindset. The softened mindset seeks peace and comfort before it has even earned it. It breeds mediocrity and does a disservice to humanity.
Many of us seek Paradise. But would you be willing to go through Hell in order to reach Heaven?
It is in this fire that the lost find themselves.
Fire is not inherently evil. It is simply an element. In one sense, fire can scar, burn, and destroy. However, fire can also illuminate and purify. Fire is also just the thing to provide warmth in a cold environment.
In the fire, this is our most beautiful time, our most glorious moment.
When we are broken…
Yet persist.
